The growth of Porto, Madeira and Faro’s Airports leads Portugal to an increase in the number of passengers compared to pre-pandemic values.
The dynamism of Tourism, the University and economic activity in Porto and in the North region is well evidenced by the movement of passengers at Porto Airport. The airport has already recovered pre-pandemic values, registering a growth, in December 2022 compared to the same month of 2019, of 1.7%.
The main operator at the airport, Ryanair, announced that it will open 11 new routes from Porto this summer.
